Integrated Performance Measurement Baselines for Agile Programs

One of the mistakes project teams make is the assumption is that Agile is only utilized for software development.

Agile supports solutions to complex problems through cadence, synchronization, and rapid feedback loops. Successful Agile programs require an integrated performance measurement baseline to enable success which requires the entire team to understand and utilize Agile practices.

Lean and Agile Execution

How has the evolution of technology changed the way you work with others on projects? Have trends such as mobility, cloud computing, data analytics or alternative working spaces improved your productivity, as well as your team’s? Or have they created new challenges?

A recent pan-European project management study, the chaos theory, found that project managers waste 20 days a year due to inefficient ways of working.

Yet just 52% of PMs say their IT team empowers them with the latest project management and collaboration tools.

4 key technology trends for 2015

  • True mobility
  • Lean workspace
  • Intelligence on demand
  • Know your cloud

The findings of the chaos theory report, for example:

  • Two-thirds of project managers can access sensitive data in their organization, but only half can see who has read, changed or downloaded a shared document
  • How to make the most of the latest technology trends and survive project management chaos.
