Project Ethics – A Critical Path for Professional Project Management
In the presentation some core concepts of project ethics are defined and the basic idea behind the Project Ethics Tool (PET) is explained.
Also a brief overview of the creation of the IPMA Code of Ethics and Professional Ethics is given.
Biography – Helgi Thor Ingasson
Professor at School of Science and Engineering, Reykjavik University, Iceland.
Dr Helgi Thor Ingason holds a PhD in process metallurgy from the Norwegian Institute of Technology and an MSc in mechanical and industrial engineering from the University of Iceland.
He is an associate professor in industrial engineering at the University of Iceland and lectures in project management, quality management, facilities planning and process metallurgy.
He is the head of the Master in Project Management (MPM) program at the university and a main lecturer in the program. Helgi Thor is a co-founder and chairman of Alur, alvinnsla hf, a recycling company that works with the aluminium industry in Iceland.
